Popular Winter Tours in Loreto, B.C.S.

Yes we have winter in Mexico. The Nortes (Northerly) winds can blow for periods of 2-3 days followed by 3-5 days of calm. If you have a Sea tour with us be sure to let us know your available days. That we can send you out on the best weather day. The water is cooler but we provide full 3 mil wet suits for folks who would like to snorkel. Island tours are also great opportunities for hiking and wildlife viewing. Folks can still have an enjoyable trip and see lots of wildlife and not get wet! On land we offer fun hiking and Cultural tours which are also interesting winter activities to enjoy. They don't call us Sea AND Land for nothin! Starting in Mid to late January the Blue Whales, Fin Whales, and Humpbacks start coming into the area and often stay for about a month or so. If you are here during that time we highly recommend a whale watching tour to see these magnificent creatures.

How to get to Loreto

There are many ways to get to Loreto. With so many changes in the aviation industry, it can be a challenge to visit our lovely Pueblo Magico. As of December, there are 4 airlines and 2 bus lines that stop in Loreto. For folks flying from Tijuana the CBX bridge from San Diego has proven to be a very safe and easy way to cross the border.
