Become a SCUBA Diver and join the 1% of the population that are certified to breathe underwater. For over 20 years we have taught everything from 1 day SCUBA intros all the way to training Dive masters. We have instructors available to teach, boats designed for diving, plenty of equipment for large groups of students, and the best classroom (the Sea of Cortez) one could ask for.
SCUBA COURSES WE OFFER
Equipment provided
We have full gear for at least 20 divers. We have well-maintained new regulators, BCDs, wetsuits (for cold and warmer waters), masks, snorkels, hoods, and fins.
Safety First
Our boats are fully permitted to operate in Mexican waters as well as the National Marine Park. They all come equip with: life jackets, radios, emergency beacons, New 4 stroke motors, and Oxygen kits onboard. Our boats designed for diving. There is plenty of room, shade and storage. We have boats that can hold from 4-12 divers, perfect for dive groups and big families.
Experienced Guides and Captains
With over 20 years of diving in the Loreto National Marine Park, our instructors and captains have the experience to ensure you dive the best sites and stay safe.
Included:
All courses include: food, drinks, National Marine Park passes, tanks, weights, full gear, instructor, cert card and materials where required. If your are doing the course online, your cert card comes with this course.
Dive Course Certifications
We are proud members of the SNSI (SCUBA Nitrox Saftey International) Dive Center family They are an internationally recognized Diver Certification Agency that are innovators in dive education. They offer a library of excellent free online courses. You can complete your online course before you come down to Loreto to complete the water portion with us. You pay when you receive your certification. We also have instructors who were trained with PADI (Professional Association of Divers International). PADI is the largest certifying agency in the world. They too offer online courses that you can complete (after purchasing) before coming down to Loreto to do your water work. Both are reputable organizations and a certification from either will show that you have been trained to be a safe, competent, educated diver. If your credentials are up to date and the dives are within your training, you would be accepted by any dive shop in the world. Not to mention that once on the boat dive protocols and planning are pretty much the same, no matter what organization you are certified with. In addition if you started your certification with another agency and would like to finish with us we can do so using the universal referral form. EXPERIENCE SCUBA
One day Introduction to SCUBA to see if diving is for you.
If you have always wanted to learn how to SCUBA dive, discover new adventures, or simply to see the underwater world of the Loreto National Marine Park, The Introduction to SCUBA course is for you. Its fun and gets you in the water quickly! In this 1 day dive course we go the basic principals of diving,and equipment. We practice basic dive skills and practice swimming with dive gear from the shallows of the beach. For the next part we go for a real dive off the boat in no more than 35 feet of water. Next step? Become an Open Water Diver.
OPEN WATER DIVE COURSE
JOIN THE 1% OF THE WORLDS POPULATION THAT CAN CALL THEMSELVES CERTIFIED DIVERS
The Open Water Diver course consist of three main phases: Knowledge Development (online learning), 5 confined water dives to learn basic skills, and 4 Open Water Dives to review your skills, practice diving, and have fun!! If you have completed your online course this class takes 3 of water skills days to complete. Summer and Fall is the optimal time to take this class. It’s hard to focus when your cold!
OPEN WATER REFERAL COURSE
COMPLETE YOUR OPEN WATER TRAINING WITH US IN THE BEAUTIFUL SEA OF CORTEZ
Have you completed your confined water training, knowledge development elsewhere during the past year? If so you can complete your 4 Open Water Dives with us. Please bring your referral training record, completed and signed by your instructor. We can also accept referral forms from other known dive agencies.
ADVANCED OPEN WATER COURSE
CONTINUE YOUR EDUCATION TODAY! EXPLORATION, EXCITEMENT, EXPERIENCES
You do not need to be “advanced” to take the Advanced Open Water Course. The Open Water Diver Course helps you increase your confidence and build you SCUBA skills so you can become more comfortable in the water. This is done under the supervision of an instructor in 5 specialty dives; Night dive, Navigation Dive, Buoyancy, Boat/drift dive, Deep Dive.
RESCUE DIVER COURSE
ADVANCE YOUR SKILLS AND YOUR SAFETY
This course is one of the most challenging, most rewarding, and one of the most fun as well. In this course we go into detail about preventing and managing problems that may come up while in the water. In doing so you also become more confident as a diver knowing that you can handle an emergency. Through classroom study and practice drills in the water you will learn: Self rescue, recognizing and managing stress in other divers, Emergency management and equipment, rescuing panicked divers, rescuing unresponsive divers.
SAFETY FIRST
If you are considering becoming a certified diver we highly recommend becoming a member of DAN (Divers Alert Network). They have an international network of emergency call centers which operate 24 hours a day to provide members with specialized assistance for diving emergencies from a group of experts in Diving and Hyperbaric Medicine.
